About

The Opp-Guide is committed to raising social awareness. We do this through two distinct ways: (1) Supporting youth in the arts and, (2) Advocating for individuals and organizations in need.

Founded in 2004, the Opp-Guide’s mission was to help youth locate service opportunities of interest so that they could meaningfully give back to their community. Originally designed as a printed pamphlet, the Opp-Guide ("Guide") was distributed to guidance counselors, libraries, schools, synagogues, and churches in the South Florida tri-county area to connect youth with volunteer opportunities. As the Guide became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Guide received grants to transition from print to an online website and app, featuring information in both English and Spanish.

Today, the Guide is a production nonprofit organization whose purpose is to address and raise awareness to social issues through supporting youth in the arts and advocating for individuals and organizations in need.  If you would like to get in touch with us, please email us at: contact-us@opp-guide.com.

Status
The Opp-Guide is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and welcome all contributions which are tax deductible.
