Our Mission: The Opp-Guide is committed to raising social awareness. We do this through two distinct ways: (1) Supporting youth in the arts, (2) Advocating for individuals and organizations in need.

Our History: Founded in 2004, the Opp-Guide’s mission has always been to help youth locate service opportunities that they may find interesting so that they would continue serving their community. Originally designed as a printed pamphlet, the Opp-Guide ("Guide") was distributed to guidance counselors, libraries, schools, synagogues, and churches in the South Florida tri-county area to connect youth with volunteer opportunities around them. As the Guide became a 501 (c )(3) tax exempt nonprofit, the Board sought and received grants to transition from print to an online website and app, featuring information in both English and Spanish. Today, the Guide is a production organization in service of youth in the arts and social justice.  If you would like to get in touch with us, you may contact us at this email address: contact-us@opp-guide.com.

Our Status: We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and welcome all contributions which are tax deductible.

Special Thanks: We would like to give special thanks to Youth Service America (YSA), Northern Trust, Do Something.org, at15 Challenge, All for Good, Simplikate, Ashoka’s Youth Venture, and GenerationOn for supporting The Opp-Guide.
